Kathie Lee Gifford, along with Hoda KOTB was co-hosting the fourth hour of TODAY since 2008 and until the 5th April, 2019. Gifford was the author of several NY Times bestselling books including Just when I thought I'd Dropped My Final Egg, I'm astonished that I've Said That To The Rock The Road and the Rabbi, as well as the bestselling children's novel Party Animals. She co-wrote and recorded He Saw Jesus Jesus is His Name, and Love Me to the End. In Monterey, CA she announced the launch of her GIFFT wines together with Scheid Family Vineyards. In the last few months, she made her first directorial experience with the film short The God Who Sees, starring Nicole C. Mullen. The two co-wrote music for the film. Gifford has supported numerous organizations that help children including Childhelp and The Association to Benefit Children and Cassidy's Place. The two houses named for her two children were Cassidy's Place and Cody House. An ardent humanitarian, she was awarded an honorary doctorate in the form of an honorary degree from Marymount University for her humanitarian efforts in the field of labor relations.
